The melting & casting plant has five aluminum and aluminum alloy slab melting & casting lines, the main equipment are 90- ton round melting furnaces and 100-ton rectangular tilting type holding furnaces introduced from USA BRICMONT as well as casting machines supplied by Wagstaff. In addition to a DC semi-continuous casting system adopted for each melting & casting line, each melting furnace is equipped with an electromagnetic stirring system, each holding furnace is equipped with an external refining system, and an in-line degassing device + plate type filtration system+ tube type filtration system are equipped for in-line melt purification of each line. The overall equipment configuration has reached the world-class level.
